Sonia Margot Santizo

My name is Sonia Margot Santizo. I am from Guatemala. I graduated in Guatemala as a Preschool Education Teacher, and I also obtained my Preschool Bilingual CDA Certification from the Council for Professional Recognition in Washington DC. I like listening to music. I love to share with the children every day and see how they grow, develop, learn and have fun in their different stages. And the most important thing is to help the children and be part of their progress.

Joy C. Miller

Hi my name is Joy C. Miller a fun, loving and outgoing Teacher at M.P.C.P. I am a mother of 2 children which one is a graduate of Bowie State University and the other currently attending Morgan State University. I’ve had the joy of working with children for 20 plus years, of all age groups. But I especially love teaching pre k. I feel teaching is rewarding and gives me the sense that I am making the world a better place one student at a time.
I enjoy reading, writing, working out and also dancing.

Gina Campbell

Hi, my name is Gina Campbell and I’m excited to be working as an assistant teacher at Monarch Preschool. I obtained my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Theater from WVU in 1997. Most of my adult life was spent touring various children’s theaters on the east coast of the US. For the past two years, I taught Head Start virtually and in person. I believe in justice, kindness, and equal opportunities for everyone.

Hello my name is Belkis and have three older brothers. I have an Aussie doodle Australian shepherd dog baby which we love very much. I was born in the United States, but my background is from El Salvador. I speak both English and Spanish. I have always loved children and they inspire me to do better in life. I help others when it’s possible for me to do so and I love to cook and dance.

Samantha Wollman

My name is Samantha Wollman and I am currently a junior at the University of Maryland pursuing a psychology degree with a minor in human development. I grew up in Howard County, Maryland with my parents and two older siblings, where I attended Glenelg Country School for fourteen years. I hope to work in the field of developmental psychology as I am passionate about mental health in children. I am very outgoing, hard-working, and compassionate. I enjoy working out, reading, and hanging out with my friends and family. At UMD I am a part of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and the body positivity club. Being a part of these organizations allows me to meet diverse groups of people and strengthen my view of women’s empowerment and body confidence.

Hana Khan
My name is Hana Khan and I am a student at the University of Maryland in the College of Education. I have worked in a Montessori school prior to coming to College Park named Montessori Manor located in Phoenix, Maryland. I am originally from Baltimore as well! I enjoy reading in my free time as well as spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to continuing my education and career with The Children’s Guild as I continue and finish college in the upcoming years.

My name is Sergio Almirez. I am originally from Guatemala City. I am a former Elementary school Teacher and the current Building Supervisor. I like to play ping-pong and tennis. What I love about early childhood education is kids are ready to learn and discover! I am not active teaching in school but helping the Spanish language community as volunteer.
