Monarch Preschool College Park is a high-quality project-based learning school that follows the PGCPS school year calendar with an active school day that starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. Before care is available from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and aftercare is available between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Our project-based curriculum will allow children to engage in content-rich, real-life learning experiences. Children will be immersed in a developmentally appropriate classroom supporting social and emotional strategies. Our preschoolers will be prepared for Kindergarten academically and socially.
The summer program will closely follow the schedule of the school year, but with even more emphasis on being outdoors and play. Teachers will use a variety of weekly themes, implementing art projects, a variety of activities and games. Our schedule is more flexible during the summer, but the underlying structure of the school day provides an enriched, safe, nurturing learning environment.

Summer camp: June 22 – August 9, 2023
Hours of operation: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Preschool building opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m.
Before care: 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
School day: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
After care: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
